The Vikings lose to the Eagles 27-14 in the NFC Divisional round of the playoffs, ending their season one week after defeating the Green Bay Packers in the wild card round.

Daunte Culpepper throws for 316 yards but also throws two interceptions, and Minnesota's leading rusher, Michael Bennett, has just 37 yards on the ground.

Philadelphia quarterback Donovan Mcnabb puts up a spotless day, throwing for 286 yards and two touchdowns.

The Eagles would go on to play in the Super Bowl, but would lose to New England 24-21.

Four season later, the Vikings would once again lose to Philadelphia in the playoffs, a 26-14 decision after a 10-6 year for Minnesota.

Mcnabb would play five more years for Philadelphia before finishing his career in Minnesota, exiting the league in 2011 after being benched by Minnesota after starting just six games.

The Purple have a knack for adding quarterbacks that have plagued them in the past, with Brett Favre and Mcnabb being the most recent to fit that category.

As for Culpepper, he would play just seven more games with Minnesota before suffering a catastrophic knee injury, traded the next offseason to Miami for a second-round pick.

He started a combined 27 games the final five years of his career after the playoff loss to the Eagles.
