Brett Favre plays his last NFL game.

In a contest that was moved to TCF Bank Stadium because of the Metrodome's roof collapse, Favre and the Vikings took on the Chicago Bears on a frigid evening.

Favre wouldn't make it to the end of the contest though, suffering a concussion in the second quarter after being sacked and having his head bounce off the ground.

He would finish the game 5-of-7 for 63 yards and in a coat on the sidelines as rookie QB Joe Webb took over, seeing his first extensive action under center.

Favre would not play the rest of the year and hung it up for what proved to be the last time after the year, filing retirement paperwork and retreating to his home in Mississippi.

Favre left football as an 11-time Pro Bowl selection, three-time league MVP, and all-time leader in completions, passing yards, and passing touchdowns.

What's he doing now? Winning titles back home. But this title comes as a coach.
