The Green Bay Packers have signed Totino-Grace and North Dakota State standout John Crockett to the active roster and released running back Alonzo Harris.

Crockett was originally signed by the Packers as a non-drafted free agent May 8. He has been on the Packers practice squad the entire regular season.

Crockett was a standout at North Dakota State where in 46 games he registered three consecutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons.

Pro Football Talk notes that Crockett led the Packers in carries and yards in the preseason and was signed to the practice squad after he was waived during the final preseason roster cutdown.

The move was made ahead of Green Bay's Thursday night game in Detroit. It will be televised on CBS and the NFL Network.
