Packers have better odds to win Super Bowl 53 than Vikings

Only if Aaron Rodgers' collarbone doesn't break again.

It was a heck of a season for the Vikings. They won the NFC North, had a Coach of the Year finalist in Mike Zimmer, the NFL's No. 1 rated defense and finished one win away from playing in and hosting the Super Bowl.

All of that, among other qualities, is why the Vikings have 12-to-1 odds to win next year's Super Bowl, according to Bovada. That's tied for the third-best odds overall, trailing only the Patriots (5/1), Eagles (9/1) and Packers (9/1).

Yes, the Packers have better odds to win the Super Bowl than the Vikings.

Sure, Green Bay gets Aaron Rodgers back from the broken collarbone he suffered in one of the Packers' two losses to the Vikings, but this is grossly surprising.

Minnesota returns pretty much every key player on the roster and they'll get running back Dalvin Cook back from the torn ACL that ended his promising rookie season.

Minnesota's only glaring need right now is at quarterback. Will it be Case Keenum, Teddy Bridgewater, Sam Bradford or someone else? But one has to be confident that someone at least as qualified as Keenum will be under center next season.
