The Vikings' injury report this week could be rather long. Adrian Peterson's ankle is improving his status for this week's game against Denver is unknown. The Vikings will be without safety Tyrell Johnson, long snapper Cullen Loeffler and possibly wide receiver Michael Jenkins as well.

The Minnesota Vikings have offered Husain Abdullah a contract to remain in Minnesota, according to Jeremy Fowler of the Pioneer Press. Abdullah, a free agent, is reportedly thinking about the offer. The safety has suffered two concussions in the last four years, one of which forced him to miss the final five games of last season.
