Percy Harvin ready for a giant season in Seattle

Percy Harvin was arguably an MVP candidate before getting injured during his final season with the Minnesota Vikings in 2012. The man did it all. He was explosive as a wide receiver, running back and kick returner, but now the 26-year-old might be on the cusp of even greater things in Seattle.

Harvin, who missed almost all of last season with a hip injury, was feeling very confident on Wednesday.

“You have no idea,” Harvin said, according to the Seahawks' website. “My body is feeling tremendously good. I’ve actually reached some gears that I didn’t know I had. I’m feeling very, very fast right now.”

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson can't seem to say enough good things about Harvin. According to the Seattle Times, Wilson is excited to have Harvin's "explosiveness" and "toughness" back on the field.

“I was supposed to be sitting out every other practice,” Harvin said. “But I’ve been going every day. Like I said, I’m feeling very good. I’m explosive. I’m coming out of my breaks with no problem at all. I’m feeling very confident and I’m ready to go.

“It’s going to be a good year for me.”

In four seasons with the Vikings, Harvin scored a total of 29 touchdowns – 20 receiving, four rushing and five kick return, according to Pro Football Reference.

Harvin might simply be picking up where he left off. The speedster returned a kick for a touchdown in Seattle's Super Bowl 48 win over the Broncos.
