Peterson: I wanted to be like Michael Jordan

Adrian Peterson toyed with the idea of changing his jersey number to 23, however, soon scrapped the idea after he realized it would cost him nearly a million dollars due to contractual issues. Tuesday he told Dan Patrick that he considered it because he's been a lifelong Michael Jordan fan.

Adrian Peterson told KFAN radio Tuesday that he's 70-percent healthy and wants to play Sunday when the Vikings play the Lions. Peterson has missed the last two games with a high ankle sprain.
