Potential starting pitcher targets for the Twins

In dire need of starting pitchers, the Minnesota Twins could be active in starting trade talks at the general manager meetings this weekend in Arizona. A few of the pitchers the Twins could be targeting include Dan Haren, Ryan Dempster and Edwin Jackson.

Arizona is the home of the Major League Basebll general manager meetings taking place this weekend. It's one of the biggest rumor-starting weekends of the year, and John Bonnes has a list of potential starting pitching trade targets the Twins might have.

Bonnes lists three teams -- Tampa Bay, Atlanta and Arizona -- that the Twins could have legitimate interest in dealing with.

MLB blogger Aaron Gleeman has a list of potential top of the rotation starting pitchers that are on the free agent market. Among the names are, Zach Grienke, Dan Haren and Edwin Jackson.
