Not the first, and likely not the last USA Basketball tryout these three will participate in.

Apple Valley point guard Tyus Jones, DeLaSalle forward Reid Travis, and former Robbinsdale Cooper off-guard Rashad Vaughn have all been invited to the USA Basketball Under-17 national team camp this weekend.

The camp will feature 48 athletes, and will consist of two sessions each on Saturday and Sunday.

Jones, Vaughn, and Travis, all going into their senior year of high school, are considered top-50 recruits in the nation for the class of 2014, led by Jones, who currently ranks fifth in the land according to Rivals.

Hopkins High School sophomore standout Amir Coffey, who already has a scholarship offer from the Gophers, also received the invite to the weekend camp, but will not participate because of an injury according to the Star Tribune's Marcus Fuller.

Coffey is ranked as the 21st-best prospect in the class of 2016.

The next FIBA Under-17 World Championships are not until 2014, with the United States winning both of the previous championships since the event's 2010 inception.
