Preview: Wild vs. Stars

Minnesota (25-19-7) beat Dallas at the Xcel Energy Center two weeks ago. However, the Stars (26-22-2) are looking to win their 15th straight home game against the Wild Saturday night. Both teams are still chasing one of the final playoff spots in the Western Conference. Minnesota lost 11 straight road games before beating Colorado last month and again Thursday night. The Stars are coming off a two-game winning streak.

Minnesota beat St. Louis twice at the Xcel in November.

The Wild (21-14-6) are on the road again looking to improve their goal production. They're visiting Calgary for a Saturday night matchup. Minnesota has dropped 10 out of their last 11 games. These struggles followed a franchise-record seven game road winning streak. The Wild will play nine of their next 12 games on the road. The Flames (18-19-5) are looking to regroup at home after returning from their own rough road trip.
