A student-athlete from Minnesota State University-Mankato was the big winner on Tuesday's edition of the "Price is Right" thanks to a winning bid of $22,000 in the Showcase, KEYC reports.

Jeffrey Raymond, a 6-foot-2, 295-pound former defensive lineman on the Minnesota State football team, was told to "come on down" as a contestant on the show. The end result was the Mankato senior winning the Showcase with a bid of "22 Strong."

"Gotta go 22 Strong. 22,000," said Raymond, who won trips to New York and Paris, among other valuables.

The Mankato Free Press notes that Raymond's bid of "22 Strong" is a reference to the 22 Strong campaign that supports his former Maverick teammate Isaac Kolstad, who continues to recover after suffering brain damage in a fight involving ex-Gophers quarterback Philip Nelson outside a Mankato bar last year.

"I was looking at the audience and everyone was yelling, 'one dollar,' except for the guys," Raymond said, via the Free Press. "They were throwing up the twos so I had to give the shoutout to Kolstad."

Kolstad wore No. 22 when he played for the Mavericks from 2011-13. You can see his bio from his playing days here.

When show host Drew Carey announced Raymond as the winner, three of Raymond's football teammates stormed the stage and tackled him.
