Frank Ragnow, a 290-pound offensive lineman from Chanhassen will take his talents to the Arkansas Razorbacks next fall.

Ragnow announced he was picking the Razorbacks over the Golden Gophers at a press conference Friday afternoon at Chanhassen High School.

He'll be playing for former Wisconsin Badgers head coach Brett Beliema, who according to the Star Tribune, lets the offensive linemen fly first class on road trips.

According to Rivals, Ragnow is a three-star recruit and the third best player in Minnesota's Class of 2014, behind Minneapolis Washburn running back Jeff Jones and East Ridge offensive lineman J.C. Hassenauer. ESPN's Recruiting Nation lists Ragnow as a four-star recruit and the third best player in the state.

Ragnow said he could start at center as a freshman for Arkansas. Hassenauer has verbally committed to play for fellow SEC power Alabama. Jones told GopherHole.com that Minnesota, Tennessee and Iowa State are his three finalists and he'll choose a school at 10 a.m. Wednesday, which is National Signing Day.

I really like the University of Tennessee. They really interest me. They talked about flying me out this weekend, but I don't think that I will because we have a huge basketball game Saturday versus Roseville. So, I think that I am just going to stay home and just try to base my decision off what I have heard from the Tennessee coaches and the Iowa State and Minnesota official visits. I think those will be my three schools.

Top recruits have been passing over the Gophers in baskeball, too. The "Big Three" Minnesota stars – Tyus Jones, Rashad Vaughn and Reid Travis – will all attend schools outside of Minnesota next fall.
