Lance Berkman and Nelson Cruz each ripped RBI doubles in the first inning to put Texas up early, 2-0.

Adrian Beltre put the Twins up 3-0 with a 419 foot home run off the batter's eye in center field in the sixth inning.

Leading 4-0 in the ninth, Twins rookie Oswaldo Arcia hit a line drive three-run home run over the wall in right to cut the lead to one, but Ryan Doumit lined out to center to end the game.

Arcia hit his home run off of former Twins closer Joe Nathan.
