The Minnesota Timberwolves were beaten by the Toronto Raptors on Friday night 94-89. It was the third straight loss for the Wolves and marked the 10th consecutive time the team was beaten by the Raptors in Toronto.

At 18-21, it is also the first time the Timberwolves have fallen three games below .500 this season.

The Raptors really hurt the Wolves from behind the arc, as they were 11 of 24 from the three-point line in the game. Minnesota was not so fortunate from deep, they were just 3 of 18.

A slow start also hurt the Wolves, they opened the game 1 of 10 from the floor on the night.

Kyle Lowry led the Raptors, he finished with 24 points on the night. Amir Johnson added 19 on the night for the Raptors.

The Wolves were balanced on the night, no one had more than 18 points, but they had four players in double figures. Kevin Martin led the way for Minnesota he finished with 18 points on 7 of 14 shooting.

Kevin Love finished with another double-double 14 points and 12 rebounds. J.J. Barea also scored 14 off the bench.

The Star Tribune reports that Ricky Rubio sat for the entire fourth quarter for the second consecutive game. Wolves coach Rick Adelman chose to go with Barea in the fourth, just like he did in the loss to Sacramento earlier this week.

The Timberwolves return to Target Center tomorrow to host Utah.
