Raptors top Wolves, 105-86
TORONTO -- Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan each scored 22 points as the Raptors dealt the Timberwolves their first loss of the seasonSunday night, 105-86.
Andrei Kirilenko was the leading scorer for the Wolves with 17 points. Nikola Pekovic added 15 points for Minnesota in the losing cause.
Toronto entered the third quarter with just a six point lead, but outscored Minnesota 26-13 in the final frame to drop the Timberwolves to 1-1 on the young season.
The Raptors have now won 15 of the past 16 meetings with the Wolves, including nine straight at home. Minnesota has not won in Toronto since Jan. 21, 2004.
Minnesota, which won it's opening game against Sacramento Friday night, face the Brooklyn Nets Monday.
