Record-breaking night for Moore lifts Lynx in double OT

Maya Moore scored a franchise-record 48 points to lead the Minnesota Lynx to a 112-108 victory over the Atlanta Dream in double overtime, Tuesday night.

Moore's 48 points beat the single-game record of 46 points held by former Lynx great Katie Smith.

Moore was red-hot from behind the arc, she knocked down seven threes in the game. She was also 16 of 30 from the floor and supported her 48 point effort with 10 rebounds for the double-double.

Still though, the Lynx let a lead slip away at the end of regulation and had to win it in double overtime.

Lindsay Whalen chipped in with 26 points and nine assists. Rebekkah Brunson, who has battled injuries this year, battled through to play a gutty 36 minutes and scored 17 points.

But the night belonged to Moore. Here is how she scored her 40th point of the night.
