Instead of playing alongside his brother with the Vikings, linebacker Mychal Kendricks has signed with the Cleveland Browns.
Kendricks, the older brother of Vikings middle linebacker Eric Kendricks, visited Minnesota and the Vikings last week after being released by the Eagles. Kendricks told media that it's a dream of his to play with his brother, but he also noted that playing time would be key wherever he signs.
In Minnesota, the linebacker jobs appeared locked up by Kendricks, Anthony Barr and Ben Gedeon, whereas Kendricks will likely get a chance to start in Cleveland.
It remains unclear if the Vikings offered Kendricks a contract.
