While we wait for news on the first major free agent acquisition by the Wolves, it looks like Derrick Rose is on his way out.

The guard has reportedly agreed a two-year, $15 million deal with the Detroit Pistons, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Rose underwent a career resurgence in the 2018-19 season, averaging 18 points across his 51 games as he was one of few bright spots for the Wolves.

In free agency news involving former Wolves, Ricky Rubio is on the move.

He's leaving the Utah Jazz for Phoenix, where he'll sign a three-year, $51 million deal, per The Athletic's Shams Charania.

The move seemingly takes the Suns out of the race for D'Angelo Russell, with the Wolves still looking to wrap up a move for the Nets' guard.
