Report: Suter won't win Norris Trophy
Minnesota Wild defenseman Ryan Suter was one of three finalists for the Norris Trophy this year -- the award given to the NHL's best defenseman.
But at least one report indicates that Suter won't take home the trophy. Instead, it will go to P.K. Subban of the Montreal Canadiens.
It appears the voters went with offense. Subban finished with 11 goals and 27 assists this year.
Suter, who led the NHL in time on ice, scored 4 goals with 28 assists for 32 points.
The other finalist was Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang, who ended the season with 5 goals and 33 assists.
