Vikings bringing in kickers for workouts
Blair Walsh's time in Minnesota might be nearing an end. According to NFL Network reporter Mike Garafolo, the Vikings are bringing in kickers for workouts this week – and specifically, head coach Mike Zimmer told KFAN that it'll happen on Tuesday.
Walsh has been a under a microscope since missing a 27-yard field goal that would have kept the Vikings' 2015 playoff season alive, and this season he's missed four field goals and and NFL-high three extra points – including one in Sunday's overtime loss to Detroit.
During his Monday press conference, head coach Mike Zimmer was asked if Walsh can still be a successful kicker.
"I think Blair can be a successful kicker, yes," Zimmer said.

If the Vikings cut Walsh they'll still owe him the rest of his 2016 money and face a $1.6 million salary cap hit next season, according to The Daily Norseman.
