There won't be any holding up or holding out for the Vikings draft picks. The team was busy Thursday, signing all 10 draft picks to rookie contracts.
Waynes – a Michigan State cornerback – was selected by the Vikings with the No. 11 overall pick. According to the Pioneer Press, he agreed to a four-year deal worth $12.944 million and will receive a $7.674 million signing bonus.
A source also told the newspaper that UCLA linebacker Eric Kendricks, the Vikings' second-round pick, agreed to a four-year deal worth about $5.15 million – including just over $2 million upfront.
The team pushed to get all of the rookie deals signed before the opening of the rookie minicamp. Here are details on some of the other rookie deals.
The last rookie to sign was third-round pick Danielle Hunter, who also came to an agreement with the team on Thursday evening.
