Minnesota Vikings cornerback Jeff Gladney is facing a charge for felony assault after an alleged incident involving his girlfriend last Friday, April 2.
News of Gladney's alleged crime was first reported by CBS 11 News' J.D. Miles, who said Gladney turned himself in after the Dallas County Sheriff's Department issued a warrant for his arrest on suspicion of third-degree felony family violence assault.
"Gladney is accused of hitting the accuser with closed fists, choking her and dragging her by the hair while driving with her outside his vehicle," Miles reports.
Bring Me The News has reached out to the Vikings for comment about the allegations.
Gladney was selected with the 31st overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
This is a developing story.
