Report: Warriors to aggressively pursue trade for Kevin Love

"We usually get our guy."

That's what an anonymous source from the Golden State Warriors told the San Francisco Chronicle, via Yahoo Sports, when talking about the team's apparent desire to bring Timberwolves All-Star power forward Kevin Love to the bay area.

"You know we'll be aggressive," the source added.

Wolves owner Glen Taylor recently said Love won't be traded, but he changed his mind in an interview with the Pioneer Press, saying he "should never say never."

The newspaper believes the Warriors could offer Minnesota power forward David Lee, small forward Harrison Barnes and a 2015 first-round draft pick for Love.

The Warriors recently fired head coach Marc Jackson and replaced him him former Bulls sharpshooter Steve Kerr, who said in his introductory press conference that he would like to add a "stretch four" player.

In other words, Love, who is widely considered the best stretch-power forward (meaning he can spread the floor and shoot from deeper range) in the NBA, would be a perfect fit for Kerr's plans.

Meanwhile, the Arizona Republic is making a case for the Phoenix Suns to trade for Love.

Plus, Phoenix has three first-round picks in this draft and future assets that might pique the interest of Saunders. The Suns have the Lakers' pick next season (unless it is in the top five). And Minnesota owes Phoenix a first-round pick, which the Suns could return.

The Suns own three first-round picks in the upcoming June draft, including the 14th, 18th and 27th selections.

The Celtics, Rockets and Bulls are also considered possible destinations for Love.
