The Timberwolves' aggressive pursuit of forward Nicolas Batum came to an end when the Portland Trail Blazers matched Minnesota's offer. "I'm very happy about it," Batum said of his return to Portland. Wolves' president David Kahn released a statement saying he is "disappointed" but "will continue to explore additional roster moves."
