Green is set to join Team USA at this summer's Olympics in Brazil following an outstanding season with the Warriors.
He was suspended for Game 5 of the NBA Finals after hitting LeBron James where the son doesn't shine – the third such below-the-belt incident involving Green in the playoffs.
East Lansing is home to Michigan State University, where Green played for coach Tom Izzo and the Spartans in college.
