Teddy Bridgewater underwent successful surgery to repair his injured left knee today.

Bridgewater dislocated his knee and completely tore his ACL and suffered other structural damage last Tuesday during a non-contact drill at practice.

"I got a call from the doctor today, and it was good," head coach Mike Zimmer said.

The Vikings say Bridgewater is expected to make a full recovery, but the injury was severe enough that he might not be ready to resume playing football before the start of the 2017 NFL season.
