The Minnesota Vikings secondary got some needed good news as they get ready to play the Chicago Bears on Sunday. The Vikings battered secondary will have Xavier Rhodes available as they get ready to take on the Bears' physical receivers Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jefferies.

The Star Tribune reports that Rhodes practiced on Friday and has been cleared to play for the Vikings who will still be without cornerback Josh Robinson and safety Harrison Smith.

Rhodes and receiver Joe Webb are both officially listed as probable for Sunday's game after concussions last week against Green Bay. Running backs Adrian Peterson and Matt Asiata, defensive tackles Fred Evans and Kevin Williams, defensive end Brian Robison, linebacker Chad Greenway and safety Andrew Sendejo are all listed as probable on the final injury report for Minnesota.

The Bears passing game won't be at 100 percent either.

Quarterback Jay Cutler is out, he will be replaced by Josh McCown. Marshall and running back Matt Forte both practiced on Friday and are probable.

The Vikings and Bears kickoff on Sunday at noon from the Metrodome.
