Robison: 'I'm sick and tired of the reffin' in this league'

It was pretty clear that roughing the passer should have been called on the Vikings' two-point conversion attempt with less than 30 seconds to play in Thursday's 17-15 Cowboys win over the Vikings.

After a brutal false start penalty backed the Vikings up to the 7-yard line, Sam Bradford was smacked in the face by Cowboys defensive tackle Cedric Thornton.

Bradford got the pass off but it sailed out of the end zone, ending Minnesota's chances to tie the game against the team with the best record in the NFL. The officials didn't see the obvious penalty, though.

I'm just going to say it right now, man. I'm sick and tired of the reffin' in this league now. I'm sick and tired of it.

"He told me that I did not get hit in the face mask," Bradford said after the game, via ESPN, explaining the official's reason for not throwing a flag on the play.

A screenshot of the play says otherwise.

Vikings defensive end Brian Robison was irate after the game.

"I'm just going to say it right now, man. I'm sick and tired of the reffin' in this league now. I'm sick and tired it," he said. "You've got holding penalties all over the place that people don't wanna call. Bradford gets hit in the face at the end of the game and you don't call it. I'm not laying this loss on reffin', but at some point ... it's gotta get better."

"That's an opportunity for us to score and tie the ballgame. But it doesn't get called," Robison added.

Here's the audio from Robison's rant.
