All signs are continuing to point to a return for Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph on Sunday against Chicago. Rudolph has missed the last six games after undergoing surgery to repair a sports hernia.

The team officially designated him as probable for the game on Sunday during the final injury report issued on Friday.

Rudolph was a full participant in practice on both Thursday and Friday after he worked in limited roles on both Monday and Wednesday.

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer told reporters he expects Rudolph to play.

Having the 6-foot-6 Rudolph in the line-up should help rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater lead the Vikings offense even more.

Pro Football Talk notes that Rudolph has caught 10 passes for 96 yards during Minnesota's first three games, before suffering the injury.

The Vikings also received good news on rookie running back Jerick McKinnon.

McKinnon leads the Vikings with 446 yards rushing, while averaging five yards per carry.

He was added to the Vikings injury report this week after Zimmer said he tweeked his lower back, earlier this week in practice. Zimmer said McKinnon will play.

Rookie defensive end Scott Crichton and offensive lineman Mike Harris have both been ruled questionable for Sunday.
