Kevin Garnett won his one-on-one battle against Kevin Love and the Celtics blew out the Timberwolves, 100-79 at Target Center Friday night. Garnett led Boston with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Love didn't shoot well, but finished with 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Kevin Love scored 34 points and pulled down 15 rebounds to lead the Wolves past the Hornets, 85-80 Friday night in New Orleans. Ricky Rubio made his first career start. He finished with 12 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds in a team high 43 minutes.

Wolves three-game winning streak ends in Utah

The Jazz (10-5) outplayed the Timberwolves with a 108-98 victory Saturday night. Minnesota (7-9) is now two games below .500. Ricky Rubio had 17 points and 11 assists. Kevin Love had 15 points and eight rebounds. The Houston Rockets will travel to the Target Center to take on the Wolves Monday.
