Seahawks likely getting 3 Pro Bowl players back from injury

Tackling Marshawn Lynch on a warm day isn't easy, but tackling the veteran running back nicknamed "Beast Mode" with the temperature around zero degrees is downright nasty.

That's what the Vikings will be up against on Sunday with the Seahawks soaring into town as winners of seven of its last eight games, including a 38-7 stomping of the Vikings on Dec. 6 in Minneapolis.

Lynch hasn't played since undergoing sports hernia surgery on Nov. 25.

Seahawks offensive line coach Tom Cable told the Seattle Times that Lynch looked "fantastic" in practice on Wednesday. Darrell Bevell, Seattle's offensive coordinator who held the same job with the Vikings from 2006-2010, expects Lynch to be full speed ahead if he plays.

“If he’s going, that’s what I would expect,” Bevell said. “I expect him to be full go, full speed and just do like we normally do.”

Seattle is also expecting fellow former Pro Bowl players, left tackle Russell Okung (calf) and safety Kam Chancellor (pelvis/tailbone), to return after missing last week's game with injuries.

J.R. Sweezy, Seattle's starting right guard, is also expected to return from a concussion.
