Minnesota Timberwolves 99

Boston Celtics 113

The Timberwolves closed their road trip in disappointing fashion Monday night. They were beaten handily by Boston 113-99.

1. Boston three party

The shots were falling from long range for the Celtics. Boston was 12-of-25 from the three-point line. Kelly Olynyk and Jonas Jerebko combined to go a perfect 6-of-6.

Olynyk finished with 19 points to lead the way for the Celtics.

While R.J. Hunter didn't shoot nearly as well from downtown, 1-of-5, the one he made was a pretty one.

2. Out glassed

The Wolves weren't much of a match for the Celtics on the glass Monday night. Boston out-rebounded the Wolves 50-36, while holding the Wolves to just six offensive boards.

Jae Crowder led the Celtics with 10 boards, adding 18 points for the double-double.

3. Towns double-double

Where would the Wolves have been without Karl-Anthony Towns? On a night when the Wolves were held to just 36 rebounds, Towns posted another double-double.

Not only did he finish with 25 points, but he also grabbed 16 of Minnesota's 36 rebounds
