Sid Hartman holding estate sale this weekend

Longtime Star Tribune sports columnist Sid Hartman will be selling some of his personal items at an estate sale this weekend, according to Twin Cities Business.

The sale will be held Saturday and Sunday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. in a commercial building at 6900 Oxford Street in St. Louis Park. Estate Sales Minnesota is hosting the event.

According to Estate Sales, items up for sale will include Hartman's suits, shirts, pants, shoes, autographed copies of books he's authored and bobblehead dolls.

This sale is not limited to Sid's wardrobe. We will be having a full wharehouse sale featuring lots of great antiques and modern items. We have dressers, glassware, lots of costume jewelry, round kitchen table, art work, cedar chest, some vintage clothing, Navy uniforms, Asian china hutch, cast iron items, records, books,couches, bookcases, books, lots of decor. Hartman, 93, has been working in Twin Cities media for more than 70 years. He still has a regular column in the Star Tribune and can be heard weekdays at 7:40, 8:40 and 9:40 a.m. on WCCO-AM 830. He recently stopped making his regular 6:40 a.m. appearance with Dave Lee on the WCCO morning show.

"It's getting a little tough to get up at 6:40," Hartman said in his final appearance during that time slot.

Hartman is expected to attend the sale for a couple of hours on Saturday morning.
