Minnesota Twins 2

Baltimore Orioles 4

The Minnesota Twins dropped to 0-2 to open the season for the second time in as many seasons as they fell to the Baltimore Orioles 4-2 Wednesday night at Camden Yards in Baltimore.

1. Command issues for Kyle

Kyle Gibson (0-1) really labored through five innings against the Orioles. Gibson gave up four runs on seven hits while walking five.

2. Davis goes deep for Orioles

Chris Davis hit 47 home runs last year and it didn't take him long to get on the board in 2016. He blasted a Gibson curve ball well out of the yard to reclaim the lead for Baltimore.

3. Plouffe goes deep for the Twins

With all of the talk about Miguel Sano and Byung Ho Park in the offseason it was veteran Trevor Plouffe, who hit the first Twins home run of the season.

Plouffe hit 22 homers for the Twins in 2015.
