Ian Kinsler singled in Anthony Gose in the bottom of the 10th inning and the Detroit Tigers beat the Twins 2-1 Tuesday night in Detroit.

Gose hit a one-out double to left to get into scoring position, and Kinsler followed that with a bloop single to center that allowed the speedy Gose to easily score from second for the walk-off victory.

Twins reliever Ryan Pressly (1-1) was tagged with the loss, while Tigers reliever Angel Nesbitt picked up the victory.

Kinsler was 2-for-5 with the game-winning RBI for Detroit, while Gose also recorded a pair of hits. Yoenis Cespedes was also 2-for-4 for Detroit in the victory.

The Tigers got on the scoreboard first on a solo home run by J.D. Martinez, snapping Kyle Gibson's scoreless innings streak.

Gibson finished the night allowing one run on five hits in seven innings, while striking out six. Blaine Boyer gave the Twins two scoreless innings of relief as well.

Tigers starter Alfredo Simon was equally as tough. He held the Twins to one run on six hits in 7 2/3 innings, but like Gibson didn't factor in the decision.

The Twins tied it up in the bottom of the seventh after Danny Santana led off the inning with a triple. Torii Hunter then hit a sacrifice fly to centerfield with one out to score Santana and tie the score.

The Twins had an opportunity to take the lead in the top of the 10th. Aaron Hicks led off the inning with an infield single, but Santana popped up a bunt back to Nesbitt, forcing Hicks to remain at first.

Then with a full count, Brian Dozier swung and missed at a high fastball and Hicks was thrown out trying to take second.

Ricky Nolasco (2-1) is on the mound for the Twins Wednesday night against Detroit lefty Kyle Lobstein (3-2)
