Sorry Twins fans, Yu Darvish ain't coming to Minnesota
Yu Darvish will not be pulling on a Twins jersey this upcoming MLB season.
The pitching ace has agreed a 6-year deal with the Chicago Cubs, according to The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal.
He's expected to pen a 6-year, $126 million deal which could rise to $150 million with incentives.
The Twins were one of the teams in for Darvish to add to their starting rotation, but were always likely to be outbid by the Cubs or the Yankees.

They'll be looking elsewhere for starting solutions, with the organization dealt a blow this week when Ervin Santana was ruled out for the start of the season.
Other free agents out there include the Cubs' Jake Arrieta, as well as Lance Lynn and Alex Cobb, though USA Today thinks the Twins will strike out on all three.
