St. Thomas Academy comeback tops busy Friday night in prep football
Week three of Minnesota's high school football season was headlined by the matchup of the second and third ranked teams in Class 4A. The meeting did not disappoint, as the Cadets used a second-half comeback to earn their first win on the Zephyrs' home field.
In Blaine, the Bengals used five interceptions to stay undefeated by beating rival Champlin Park 35-21.
Lakeville North stayed on top of the tough Lake Conference with a 21-14 home field win over Edina.
In a battle of Mississippi 8 Conference unbeatens, Rogers prevailed over St. Michael-Albertville 35-21.
Totino-Grace knocked off Spring Lake Park 20-7 in another battle of Class 4A powers.
And in Sartell the Sabres gave Brainerd its first loss of the season, taking an 8-3 struggle with the 9th ranked Warriors.
