The Tommies end their season (13-1) after facing a perennial powerhouse in Wisconsin-Whitewater.

St.Thomas never got on a roll against the Warhawks, who have won 44-straight games.

So much is made of parity in college athletics, but the Division III playoffs have lacked it for some time. For the seventh-straight year Wisconsin-Whitewater will meet Mount Union in the championship game.

The Warhawks have won the previous two meetings.
