The baseball State Tournament schedule has been shuffled following the postponement of Thursday's quarterfinal games for Class 1A and 3A. The 2A games went on as scheduled at Dick Putz Field in St. Cloud.

But because rain washed out the first-round games in two classes, all three championship games have been moved to Monday. The title games will still be played at Target Field in Minneapolis.

2A Quarterfinal Results

Top-ranked and undefeated St. Cloud Cathedral (23-0) advanced to the semifinals with a 12-4 win over Cloquet. Read more from the St. Cloud Times.

Cathedral will face Marshall in the semifinals; Marshall defeated Glencoe-Silver Lake, 5-4. For a recap check out MN Baseball Hub.

Rochester Lourdes advanced to the other semifinal with their 3-2 victory over Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton. Here is the recap from the state high school league.

Former Twins pitcher Kevin Tapani's Providence Academy squad fell short to Minnehaha Academy 2-1. The Pioneer Press notes that it's the third time the Redhawks have beaten Providence Academy this season.

The 1A and 3A games have been rescheduled, with the quarterfinal round coming Friday and semifinal games Saturday.
