Need a little something to help get you through the sports-less world created by the coronavirus pandemic? Look no further than a great opportunity to do so with fellow Gopher fans at 12 p.m. today (Saturday), as living in the past becomes reality when the Gophers take on Clemson in the 1997 NCAA tournament.

Gopher Illustrated's Ryan James came up with the idea to re-watch that '97 instant classic together, with plans for everyone to pull up the game on YouTube and begin watching together at 12 p.m., and of course tweeting with each other about as if it were happening in real time.

By clicking on the YouTube link at noon, the concept is to get people talking and satisfy their March Madness craving – and that '97 Gopher squad had a battle for the ages against Clemson that is sure to bring back amazing memories.

The 1996-97 Gophers had the greatest season in program history, compiling a 30-4 record before falling to Kentucky in the Final Four. The season has since been vacated due to NCAA violations.
