Super Bowl prep: Harvin expected to play, could practice Wednesday

We're just one day removed from Championship Sunday, a Richard Sherman freak out for the ages, and Welker-gate 2014.

It's a quick turnaround to start looking ahead to the Super Bowl, but let's be honest, it's all you're going to hear about for the next two weeks anyway, so we might as well get an early start on prep for the big game.

This first bit of news comes from the Seahawks camp, with head coach Pete Carroll saying former Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin may be ready to practice by Wednesday.

The ultra-athletic, lightning in a bottle Florida alum missed Sunday's win over San Francisco with a concussion, but reports came out almost instantly after Seattle's win that Harvin was expected to be ready for the Feb. 2 title game.

Carroll would not say for sure when Harvin would return, saying he needs to clear a few more hurdles before practicing, but optimism is flowing despite the wideout playing in just two games this year while recovering from offseason hip surgery.
