Report: Ted Ginn Jr. visits Vikings

Free-agent wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. visited the Vikings Tuesday, according to Jeremy Fowler of the Pioneer Press. Ginn has spent the last two seasons with the 49ers. He finished 2011 with 19 catches for 220 yards. Ginn can also serve as a return specialist.

Randy Moss signs with 49ers

Randy Moss signed a one-year contract with the San Francisco 49ers Monday night, according to Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network. Moss didn't play last season, and at 35 years old he is joining his fifth franchise. Along with Minnesota, Moss has played for the Patriots, Titans and Raiders.

Former Vikings star Randy Moss is apparently fitting in quite well with his new team in San Francisco. The 35-year-old receiver -- who has a history of sometimes disrupting the flow as a malcontent -- has "been a cool, down to earth guy," according to 49ers defensive end Justin Smith. Moss is back after a year retirement from the NFL in 2011.
