Rochester: Lourdes aiming for another state title
Rochester Lourdes won the state championship in football last fall and now 10 of those football players have helped guide their baseball team to a 19-0 start. They open section playoffs Thursday as the No. 2-ranked team in Class 2A. St. Cloud Cathedral, the defending 2A state champ, is ranked No. 1 and also undefeated at 15-0.

Winona: Huge upset in softball playoffs
Defending state champion Lakeville South was upset by Winona thanks to a 1-hit shutout from sophomore pitcher Ashton Hoeppner.

Detroit Lakes: She's 95 and going strong
Frances Carlson is her name and earlier this month the 95-year-old woman completed the Fargo Marathon 5K. Carlson walks regularly, and she walked this 5K with her family, including her 65-year-old daughter, 34-year-old granddaughter and 8-year-old great, great granddaughter.

Aurora: Youth archer going for gold
Breanna Theodore, 15, will represent Team USA at the World Youth Outdoor Archery Championships in Yankton, South Dakota next month. The competitive archery competitions range far and wide, so she's home schooled to help make room for her extensive travel schedule.
