The Twins picked up a big four-game sweep over the Detroit Tigers with a 10-4 victory on Sunday.

With Sunday's win, Minnesota has a five-game lead in the American League Wild Card race, with six games left to play; their magic number to clinch is down to three.

(Note: The Twins will either have a 4.5 or 5.5 game lead after all games are finished on Sunday.)

Minnesota began the day with a 96 percent chance to make the postseason, according to Baseball Prospectus

Shortstop Jorge Polanco kept up his impressive play with a multi-hit game and now has over 70 RBI on the season.

Meanwhile, Eduardo Escobar hit his 20th home run, which busted the game open for the Twins.

Starting pitcher Jose Berrios was solid on the mound, throwing five innings with six strikeouts.

It was the Minnesota's first four-game sweep in Detroit since 2004

The Twins are off on Monday, but they begin a three-game series against the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday for their final road tip of the regular season.

They'll close the season at home against the Tigers next weekend.
