Three homers power Twins' 5-2 win over the Brewers

A three-run homer from Eduardo Escobar and back-to-back Torii Hunter homers powered the to a Twins 5-2 win over the Brewers Saturday in Milwaukee.

Escobar's three-run home run in the fifth gave the Twins the lead, which they kept for the rest of the game. Escobar has hit 59 extra-base hits since 2014, according to Brian Dozier leads that list with 97, followed by Trevor Plouffe at 84.

Hunter's first home run was a solo in the sixth, followed by one in the ninth.

The Brewers had a decisive 10-4 win Friday over the Twins. So the teams head into the border battle finale tied in the series.

Game starts at 1:10 p.m. Sunday. Tommy Milone starts on the mound for Minnesota. He has a 2.52 ERA in his four June starts, reports.

The Twins are now 40-34, still holding second place in the AL Central.
