Tiger Woods suffers 'multiple leg injuries' in rollover crash
Tiger Woods is in surgery after suffering "multiple leg injuries" in a rollover crash in Los Angeles Tuesday morning.
The golf legend had to be extricated from his vehicle using the jaws-of-life after the crash at 7:12 a.m. Pacific Time.
His vehicle suffered "major damage" and Woods was transported to a hospital after being removed from it.
In a statement to Golf Digest, Woods' agent Mark Steinberg said: "Tiger Woods was in a single-car accident this morning in California where he suffered multiple leg injuries. He is currently in surgery and we thank you for your privacy and support."
Woods has won 15 Major Championships in his decorated career spanning three decades, with his most recent win coming in the 2019 Masters.
