The Minnesota Timberwolves once again failed to get over the .500 mark on the season as they were beaten by the Portland Trail Blazers 115-104 on Saturday.

Portland used a big second quarter to build a lead on the Wolves (21-22) and they really never looked back.

The Blazers were led by a balanced attack as they had six players in double figures. LaMarcus Aldridge led Portland with 21 points.

Kevin Martin led Minnesota. He finished with 30 points and knocked down six threes. Nikola Peckovic had a double-double. He scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, while Kevin Love went for 15 points and 13 boards.

Still, Minnesota was out rebounded 50-40 in the game.

On Friday, the Wolves started their west coast road swing with a victory over Golden State.
