The Timberwolves continued their losing ways Saturday night, dropping their 11th game in a row to the Utah Jazz 101-89 at the Target Center.

Trey Burke hit 10 of 16 shots and 4 of 6 3-pointers to lead the Jazz with 28 points, the Associated Press reports. Rudy Gobert added 13 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks to help the Jazz (12-22), who have won six of their last nine games.

Andrew Wiggins and Mo Williams each scored 20 points for the Timberwolves, but the team shot only 39 percent from the floor and missed 10 of their first 11 3-pointers, according to the AP.

The Wolves had Friday off to prepare for the game, but played with little energy. Head coach Flip Saunders said afterward he was disappointed with the listless effort.

“That’s probably about as bad of a loss as we’ve had in a long time," Saunders said, according to NBA.com. "To come out the way we did is uncalled for. We talked to our team afterwards just about what it is to be professional. It’s everyone’s responsibility. … It was just really disappointing.”

Shabazz Muhammad called the game embarrassing.

“We’re playing in the NBA,” Muhammad said, according to NBA.com. “We have to turn it around because the energy just isn’t there."

The Wolves have won only one of their last 18 games, and their record falls to 5-27. Their next game is at home against Denver on Monday.
