Valentine's Day isn't considered the most romantic day to get engaged, but it's one of the most popular days to pop the question.

According to Huffington Post, approximately 6 million couples will get engaged on Valentine's Day. But no matter how amazing the proposals will be, it's going to be difficult to top what Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Alex Cobb pulled off.

He's a baseball player, but he didn't simply go to the ballpark for a run-of-the-mill scoreboard proposal. He took his girlfriend to Discovery Cove in Orlando, Florida. Where he received marriage proposal help from a dolphin.

Yes, you read that right. A dolphin.

Bleacher Report has the details, but the Cliffs Notes version: The dolphin surfaced with a buoy in its mouth that read, "Kelly, will you marry me?"

Cobb's proposal would make Cupid blush, but is it better than any of the 18 most over-the-top engagements of 2013? You be the judge.
