Tom Kelly doing well after stroke; advice for Molitor
Minnesota Twins two-time World Series-winning manager Tom Kelly joined the team Thursday at spring training in Fort Myers, Florida.
The skipper, who suffered a stroke five months ago, told reporters he's doing well – although he's moving at a more casual pace.
1500 ESPN adds that Kelly is currently hitting about 30 ground balls during infield drills and he'll eventually be able to increase the number of grounders he hits to 100.

Kelly will also serve as a mentor to first-year manager Paul Molitor. However, Kelly believes Molitor's success will depend on the Twins' pitching success.
"Hopefully, he takes to it and we pitch good and everything will be fine," Kelly said recently, according to the Pioneer Press. "You can do all these things, and if you don't pitch any good, then there's an issue."

1500 ESPN notes that Kelly probably won't return to the TV booth with FOX Sports North this season, although the Twins remain interested in having Kelly commentate a few games.
